Our hospital has made it through the quarantine period ordered by the State of California. During that period of time, we tried our best to see more of the essential type of medical needs presented to us. Moving forward, we have elected to continue to limit direct contact with our clients in order to ensure the safety and health of our staff members and clients. Until further notice we have implemented the following policies for our hospital:
-IF YOU FEEL UNWELL OR HAVE A FEVER, COUGH OR SHORTNESS OF BREATH, PLEASE CALL TO RE-SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
-PLEASE BE PATIENT! DELIVERING MEDICAL SERVICES UNDER THE CURRENT CONDITIONS TAKES TIME. WE ARE WORKING DILIGENTLY TO PROVIDE TOP NOTCH SERVICES TO YOU. WAIT TIMES ARE LONGER THAN USUAL.
-ALL STAFF MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR FACE COVERINGS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE HOSPITAL WHILE ON DUTY.
- All clients will have to remain in their vehicles. Face coverings are required when interacting with our staff. (Example: When our technicians are retrieving your animals from your vehicle.) Without a face covering, we may not be able to service you and your pet. Only our employees will be allowed inside our facility. Upon arrival please call us to either check-in for your appointment, pick up medication or food.
-An animal technician or Registered Veterinary Technician will obtain your pet from your vehicle for the veterinarian to examine and evaluate unless your pet poses a danger to our technical staff. The doctor will speak to you via telephone and discuss his or her examination and discuss any recommendations for treatment of the presenting problem. Costs can also be discussed during this time.
-A front office staff member will contact you for payment of our services once the treatment is completed.
-If you have scheduled a euthanasia for your pet, our hospital will make a exception to our policy and the procedure will be done inside the hospital. We require a face covering to enter our hospital. If you do not have one, one will be provided for you.
-We also have a new cancellation policy for our hospital. Cancellations will need to be made 2 hours prior to your appointment or a $25.00 fee will be assessed. This fee will need to be paid before any future appointments can be scheduled.
As conditions change, our hospital will evaluate our protocols accordingly.
